Creative Experience is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for youth in the fine and performing arts. CTE students participate in classes that cover all aspects of the arts including movement, music, visual art, movement, theatrical design and technical theater.

Founded in 1981 by two visionary and talented educators, CTE continues today as a place where young people collaborate in creating an environment of respect and compassion where they can discover their unique gifts and personal worth.

At CTE we believe in a process that encourages and supports personal and interpersonal growth and teamwork. We encourage individuality and diversity. We measure the program's success by the obvious pride and sense of accomplishment our students feel in being an integral part of a quality production.

Our curriculum is designed by certified teachers with advanced training and experience in both theater and education. Resources, materials, and classes are planned with young performers in mind and selected with an eye for what will be most effective and appropriate for students of various ages (5 to 21).

As students return to the program and advance and skill and self confidence, they may take on greater leadership in the program. Youth mentor youth with the guidance and support of skilled adults.
